In the following Campsite Index, all abbreviation explanations can be found in the Campsite Rating System page, Too in this Campsite Index, all campsites are listed first by the Campsite Rating starting with Ten and the campsites within each subsequent rating section, are set alphabetically.
Upon arriving at any specific campsite page, there will be a return Up-arrow located at the top right of that page and clicking on this arrow will bring you back to the Campsite Index by Rating page. Too, you may use the menu to the left and click any of the rating numbers, from Free (Zero) to Ten to take you to that section to the Index by Rating page.
The Tens
The Search for a Ten
Theoretically, according to my current Campsite Rating System, a campsite with a rating of Ten or higher could exist. If in the future, I do find one, I have to say that it will not be a perfect campsite, there are no perfect campsites, it will just be a campsite rated at Ten.
However, finding one is another story all together. Only time will tell!

To set an understandable standard in which to determine the meaning of the terms used for a hot shower, the following are the three types of hot showers: (1.) Steamy Hot (HS) is when the hot water is too hot to be used by itself and must needs have a little cold water added. (2.) Medium Hot (MS) is when the hot water does not need any cold water and is still hot enough for a hot shower. (3.) Warm Shower (WS) is when only the hot water is on and the water is not quite hot enough.

Under the column header: Site Costs (In $), there can be more than one type of Campsite showing each of their cost per night/per campsite: F= Full; E= Electric/Water; T= Tent; B= Backpacking; DC= Dispersed Camping. There, you will see one of the campsite types shown in bold indicating the specific type of campsite that has been rated in the under the Site Amenities column.

All Oregon Coast campgrounds and most other Oregon parks are normally full during the summer (June through Labor day). Most Oregon Parks are transferring to an all reservation system, so if you wish to camp in the summer, call many months ahead for reservations. (See footnote 4 below.)

As of January 2022, Oregon is charging all non-residents a surcharge of 25% to camp. So, this CRS is adding from the A: Camping Cost: menu, the rating of EF: Entrance, Out of State Fee, -1 to all Oregon State Parks and lowering all of the Oregon campgrounds by one rating point. This is a change that will take some time to complete on this website, but it has begun. Therefore, to indicate which individual state parks have been updated, you will see an OR in the state park name. Example: Deschutes State Park Campground OR. Therefore, until I have complete all of the Oregon SP campgrounds, you will still need to subtract one for the EF: Entrance, Out of State Fee, -1 from the overall rating, for each Oregon State Park without the OR in the state park name.

To be listed in this section, a campsite must needs be a free campsite (FC) or have limited-free camping with a toilet (LFC), but not a Limited-free campground without a toilet (LFX). Most all of those listed in this section will rate at zero or even a negative number simply because of the lack of the minimum necessities, amenities or other features and/or acceptable cleaning and maintenance. A campsites will also be listed in this free section if it has not been rated and/or if the campsite is a known free campsite location that I have yet to visit and confirm.
If I include the Do Not Return acronym (DNR) with any campground, then, I will not return to this location because of the campground′s multiple listed negative amenities.
