The Quest for Simplicity Go Down Go Back
Genesis 11: 5-9
"And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do."
"So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."
Men are capable of amazing things, it is a gift from the creator. However, much of what is done today does not bring glory to their creator, rather shame. Still, there are a few men and a few things they have accomplished on the face of this earth that are worthy of taking a look at.
These are the subject of this gallery.
During this twenty-first century, modern man has advanced unto the width and breadth and depth of every available space in order to build their homes. No matter where one looks, it seems that the mountain is replete with man′s works.
While taking steps on this mountain and because Thom is a previous student of Architecture he occasionally comes upon a work of architecture worth stopping to examine.
Those manmade compositions worth examining is the subject of this gallery which is soon to be populated with photos.
