Access, Annual, Gold Star, Military, Senior, Veterans and Volunteer.
Benefits:
All Federal Parks Passes covers entrance fees at lands managed by: National Parks Services (NP) and US Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS). Also, a Federal Park pass will cover standard amenity fees (Day Use Fee) at lands managed by: the National Forest Service (NF), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Reclamation (BR) and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
At most of the above listed federal park locations, Federal Parks Pass holders will receive half off camping fees.
All Montana State Parks:
The Montana State Parks have two fees for all their campgrounds, one for Montana residents and a higher one for Out of State residents.
Normally, I will not camp in any of the Montana State Parks due to the fact that the state parks charge more than a forty percentage surcharge for Out of State campers. However, on this particular visit, I was offered the ADA campsite which does not have a surcharge.
So, in my future visits to Montana, I may stop at another one of their state park and ask how much for the ADA campsite to see if they are going to charge me the Out of State surcharge.
