Tumalo State Park Campground
The campground is located on the Deschutes River a short drive from Bend, Oregon, Tumalo state park is a quiet place for relaxing on the river, camping, picnicking or as a base to explore all the year round recreation available in Central Oregon.

Deschutes River Trail
Tumalo state park hosts 2.4 miles of the current 12 mile Deschutes River Trail which begins at the north end of the park and west side of the river, crosses the river at O.B. Riley road and continues south along river.
This river trail allows nearly uninterrupted access to the beautiful waterway that is the heart of the community. The Bend Park & Recreation District is at work building a fully connected river trail between Tumalo State Park and Meadow Camp. Once complete, the trail system will encompass nineteen miles of trails. The current trail system is divided into five “reaches”, defined by landscape characteristics.
Pilot Butte State Scenic View
This state park is located on the east side of Bend, Oregon and has a spectacular view of central Oregon. You can drive to the summit during the summer or hike one of its trails year round.
Tumalo Falls
Located about 15 miles southwest of the state park, this location is part of the Forrest Service and is open seasonally.
Newberry National Volcanic Monument
This park, located south of Bend is a volcanic wonderland and home of many volcanic features including: lava butte; lava cast forest; lava river cave; Paulina and East Lakes, Paulina double falls, south ice caves, and sulfur hot springs.

Campground Includes:
Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic table, paved parking, access to water.
Campground has a brick shower house with flush toilets and individual shower rooms with lockable doors.
