Overnighting in a parking lot
It is not until about ten this morning when I arrive at the highway and begin a very familiar route through northwest Wyoming. My first stop is at the
Warren Bridge over the
Green River where I stop and take photos of the two
osprey in the nest atop the bridge. Then, I pull into the
Warren Bridge campground to prepare my lunch and take a few more photos.

Finally, I continue north on US 191 which highway then climbs up into Bridger-Teton National Forest over the summit near the Rim Station, which I normally stop at but do not do so today. Continuing north, US 191 follows the Hoback river downstream all the way to the
Snake river at Hoback Junction.

(Day

At ten, I pack out, drive to I 80, turn east and drive to the US 191 exit where I turn north and drive out of Rock Springs and drive through Eden, Wyoming, where the jammer odometer rolls over ninety thousand miles, nearly twenty-six thousand miles since I first purchased the Aerostar on Day
178 TG, just one year, three months, and a few weeks ago, even though it seems to have been much longer that that.
I continue north of both US 191 and 189 following just east of the Green river and in only a short time, I come to the
Green River crossing at
Warren Truss Bridge where I turn off of the highway into Warren Bridge campground.
I talk with the host and she tells me about the
bald eagle perching on the nest pole across the green river. She also tells me that there are
osprey nesting on the top of the bridge.
So, I grab my camera, walk to the river to photograph the two eagles and then upriver to the warren bridge but do not see the osprey, just the nest.

Later, just before the sunsets, I grab my camera, step out of the jammer and begin looking for photo opportunities.

(Day

Up after the alarm, get out of the jammer and go inside to clean up. Afterwards, I purchase a cup of coffee, return to the jammer and drive out of the Old Faithful Inn parking lot south on US 191 out of Yellowstone and stop at Headwaters lodge on the JD Rockerfeller memorial parkway for a refill of coffee and a sticker for the side window. Continuing south on US 191, I drive through the Grand Teton national park and through the Gros Ventre Wilderness.
When I arrive at Warren Bridge campground, I pull off the highway and stop at the vault toilet where I take some photos of the bridge. I was going to overnight here tonight but because it is to early to stop, I leave and continue south on US 191.
