The Waterway Gallery
Lakes and Lakeshores
There are, I do not know, maybe billions of lakes of a vast different in sizes, scattered about the surface of this earth. So, to have a section that features these Lakes upon the Earth, I would need to have some refining qualifications to limit the quantity to a workable number of subjects.
Therefore, the lakes in this gallery must be one, quite remarkable in there features, two, have had some amazing events surrounding the formation, three, be a location of considerable wildlife, and/or four, be just too beautiful for me not to photograph the lake.
Furthermore, I have include in this list, the 100 largest lakes within the United States. The number of each lake′s size raking [RATING NUMBER] is directly after each lake name followed by the size of that lake in square miles. If the lake name is followed by (STATE), then that lake is located upon the border between two or more states (US, Canada or Mexico). When this multi-state listing occurs, that lake will be listed under each of these jurisdictional districts.
