THE LIGHTHOUSES
The North Carolina Lights

The Lights of North Carolina Go Down Go Back
Seven Remaining Lights
A total of seven coastal lighthouses line the shoreline of North Carolina, there are seven standing lighthouses. Six of the seven allow visitors to tour and-or climb to the top, albeit, only during their open season, with Ocracoke light being the one lighthouse not available to climb.
Past Lights of NC
There have been other lights that have guided seafarers along the North Carolina sea shore and have been deactivated, decommissioned, and or destroyed; and this number is numerous.
