The Pacific Coast Ranges designation applies to the Western System of the Western Cordillera, which comprises the Saint Elias Mountains, Coast Mountains, Insular Mountains, Olympic Mountains, Cascade Range, Oregon Coast Range, California Coast Ranges, Transverse Ranges, Peninsular Ranges, and the Sierra Madre Occidental.
Pacific Coast Mountains are a series of ranges that stretch along the west coast of North America from Alaska south to Central Mexico.
These mountains are in three countries, United States (58%), Canada (28%) and Mexico (15%).
Alaska mountain ranges include: Boundary Ranges, Saint Elias Mountains, Yukon Ranges, Talkeetna Mountains, Chugach Mountains, and the Kenai Mountains.
British Columbia mountain ranges include: North Cascade Mountains, Insular Mountain Island Ranges, Coast Mountain Ranges and the Saint Elias Mountains.
Washington mountain ranges include: Olympic Mountains and Cascade Mountains.
Oregon mountain ranges include: Coast Ranges, Cascade Mountains, Calapooya Mountains, Klamath-Siskiyo Mountains,
California mountain ranges include: Klamath Mountains, Cascade Mountains, Sierra Nevada, Coast Ranges, Traverse Ranges and the Peninsular Ranges.
Mexico mountain ranges include: Sierra de California, Sierra Madre Occidental, and Sierra Madre del Sur
