The White-crowned Sparrow Go Down Go Up
The White-crowned sparrow are part of a small group of large sparrows with distinctive crowns which are fairly tame ground feeders that often form small flocks in winter. These flock are sometimes mixed with others similar type sparrows.

Family: Passerellidae
Genus: Zonotrichia
Species: Z. leucophrys
Length: 7 inches
Range
Seen in all the continent, winters in the south below the Mason-Dixon line and spends summers and nesting in the northern extremes. Abundant in the west.
Habitat
Numerous in diverse brushy locations. In winter, this species is found especially in parks, residential areas and along roadsides.
Description
Black and white striped crown, gray cheeks, nape, and breast. Bill varies from pink to yellow depending on region but has a somewhat darker tip. The lores can vary from black to white.
Immature has a tan crown with reddish brown stripes.

The Pre-construction Work for the Oak Harbor Oak Harbor Kingdom Hall
During the month of May of 2012, much of the landscaping at the Kingdom Hall in Oak Harbor was disturbed or removed completely. This caused an upheaval to any and all wildlife that had previously made this area their home.
