Last evening, Mark and Don on the kitchen crew asked me if I would open the gate today at seven again. I told them, no problem and this morning, arrive here at six-fifty am, open the gate and park in front of the Hall to take a photo. They arrive just before seven and begin to set up a table and get coffee brewing.

While Mark and Don are setting up the coffee pot, I take a walk around the site to take some photos before the construction crew begins to arrive.

The work crew begins to arrive and take advantage of the available hot coffee and while sipping on the cup of hot, the heavy equipment drivers begin to check the oil levels, and other aspects of the equipment. Once they are satisfied that all is good, then the motors are started and allowed to warm up.

According to city restrictions, work can not begin before eight o′clock each morning. So, as the clock comes to the top of the hour the equipment operators begin to move the excavators into position and the work begins.

I assume my station at the entrance gate and wearing my work boots.

The second shift of the Security Guard begins and I drive to my home to take care of a few things, but then arrive back at the site in the afternoon.
