There is 32 miles which are not in the Ouachita NF.

Awake, drive out of the parking lot, then north to US 70 where I turn west and leave Hot Springs to drive to the Talimena Scenic Byway. I continue south west to Glenwood where I turn right onto SH 8 and then drive north west into the Ouachita National Forest.

Upon arriving at a sign indication that the Ouachita Trail crosses the highway, I stop to take a photo.
