During the remaining months of the winter of 2012-2013, I remain in Oak Harbor dispossessing myself of as much of the remainder of my possessions while waiting for my home to sell.

True to this area, sunglow photo opportunities are available if you look for them.

After the sale of my home, while still on the rock, I always keep an eye towards the south during sunglow for chance there is and opportunity to see Rainier.

I get a late start this morning, going first to get coffee, then to take a shower and finally to the grocery mart to get a package of dark chocolate covered blueberries.

After my stop, I drive east on SR 20 to IH 5 and head south towards Oregon to do some overnighting.

First stop for photos is the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

After my visit to Scotts Bluff National Monument, I decide that this is my turnaround point for this tour and begin my return drive to Washington.

I continue to drive through Wyoming into the evening but find my self stopping often for photos of the sunglow this evening.

After stopping in Yellowstone for a couple of days, I continue across Idaho, into Oregon and must again stop for sunglow photos.

After arriving back in Oak Harbor, only to make plans for my next tour, one which will take me south along the Pacific West Coast.
