The start of this year begins, as it has for many previous years, in South Texas near the Rio Grande river, that is in The Valley. My routine includes driving upriver to
Falcon state park for a night of camping and photo taking along with a normally much needed hot shower.
After a journey west to California and over three week sojourn in Yucaipa, I continue north on the familiar US 395 stopping first at the Alabama Hills
Turtle Creek campground, then the Lava Beds NM at the
Indian Wells campground before moving north into Oregon.
The next stop on this journey is on the coast rout of Oregon at
Umpqua Lighthouse,
South Beach,
Beverly Beach,
Cape Lookout, and
Fort Stevens state parks for a series of hot showers, then make my way to Oak Harbor to renew my license in Washington. After three weeks on the Rock, I then head east to the mountains in search of cooler weather for the upcoming summer, spending time in Bozeman, Montana, then Yellowstone, Wyoming, and next to Colorado for the convention and to summer mostly in Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado near the
Hot Sulphur springs.
