QUIRE ELEVEN CHAPTER FIFTEEN
The Quest for The Solace, Preface

On Loving The Son of God Go Down Go Up
"This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him." (Matthew 17: 5)
Sometime after the Passover of 32 CE, and before Jesus′ final trip to Jerusalem, Jesus had been talking with the disciples while in the area of the villages of Caesarea Philippi and at one point asked them, Whom do men say that I am? (Mark 8:27). Then, some six days later, Jesus took Peter, James and John and led them up onto the top of a lofty mountain (Mark 9:2). It was here that Jesus was transfigured before his disciples; Too, Elijah and Moses appeared and began talking with the transfigured Jesus. About this event, Mark says, Jesus′ clothes "became shining, exceeding white as snow". In fact, this was unlike anything that could be seen on earth.
The three disciples, who saw this happen, did not understand what was happening and in fact, became quite fearful. At that moment, a bright cloud formed around them, overshadowing all of them; and then, a voice came out of the cloud saying as if to the disciples: "This is my beloved Son: hear him." (See also: Matthew 3:17; 17:1-9; Mark 9:2-10; Luke 9:28-36; 2 Peter 1: 17, 18)
Who Is This Jesus?
This and other questions will be the topic of discussion in the following section. Also, I encourage you to pray to God for the wisdom to understand what is in God′ Word so that you too can become wise. (Proverbs 3:7; 13: 20; 23:19)
Also, receive the Word of God with all readiness of mind, search all of the scriptures in your Bible, to make sure these things are true. In fact, do as the Thessalonians did, as they would "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21)

On Loving God′s Son, Who is Jesus? Go Down Go Up
About 2,000 years ago, in the small village of Bethlehem of Judea, a child was born who was to be called Jesus. This account was recorded by by contemporaries and have been included in the book that is now referred to as the Bible. (Matthew 1:18-Matthew 2:3; Luke 1:1 -2:52.)
It happened this way: There was a young Jewish virgin whom was promised in marriage to Joseph, and the angel of God appeared to her and said: Hail, maiden highly favored, the Lord be with you. (Luke 1: 28 Byington) The angel continued and said that she has found favor with God, and will become pregnant, and give birth to a son, and she is to name him Jesus. The angle also explained to her that Holy Spirit will come upon here and the power of the Most High God will overshadow her; wherefore what is born will be called holy, the Son of God. (Luke 1: 26-38)
When Joseph, son of David learned that his betrothed wife was pregnant, he was thinking that he should dismiss her. However, an angel appeared to him in a dream and told him to take his wife Mary home because what had been conceived in her was from God by holy spirit. (Matthew 1:20-23; Isaiah 7:14)
Thus, the boy named Jesus grew up with Hebrew parents and was trained accordingly.
More to Come

On Loving God′s Son, How is Jesus God′s Son? Go Down Go Up
Although the man Jesus rarely spoke of himself as the Son of God, he did declare that he was so. A few of the places that this is recorded is found at Mark 14: 62, 62; as well as at John 5:25, 26.
In fact, it was more important to Jesus, not to proclaim that he was the Son of God, but to allow his disciples and others to come to that conclusion themselves. (John 1:29-34; John 11:27)
Son of God
This expression refers to and identifies Jesus, but there are others in the Bible who have been called a Son of God. Those that are included in this list are the angels, God′s intelligent spirit creatures. This is found first in the Book of Genesis (Genesis 6: 2-4). Another reference to Son of God as being those from the angels, is at Job 1:6 where it says: 6. No (Exodus 4: 22)w there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
When Adam was created, he was perfect and he was called a son of God. (Luke 3:38) Too, God told Moses: 22. And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
