Walking In the Steps of the Master.
(1 Peter 2: 21)
Not much is said about Jesus as a youth, however, in the second chapter of Luke, we can gain some insight of how he was as a child. In verse 42, it tells us that "when he was twelve years old" his parents went up to Jerusalem as was their custom. There seemed to be some mix up when the family left Jerusalem to return home, and Jesus was left behind. However, when that problem was straightened up, the scriptures say at Luke 2, verse 51 that Jesus "went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart." Then in verse 52, the scriptures say of Jesus, "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man."
The Quest for the Solace Upon Learning Love has as it′s desire for this wayfarer to increase in favour with God and man and to do so by gaining the wisdom God provides and gaining in physical stature by a simple reasonable approach towards
good health and living well.
Passage Six will record this wayfarer′s desire and efforts to do more in learning about and carrying out God′s Will
(Matthew 7:21)
and thus striving for a closer personal relationship with Jehovah, the most high God of all the earth, even so as to come to be know by Him.
(Psalms 8:4)
