Full Beaver Moon
The full moon in November, also known as the Frost Moon, is when beavers become active in preparation of winter dams. Too, both the colonists and Algonquin tribes knew this to be the time to set traps before the swamps froze to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. In fact, at this time of the year, the beaver coat was much thicker.
Indigenous People
The Tingit people referred to this full moon as the Digging Moon because it was the time when animals would dig to prepare for winter.
The Cree would call this full moon the Frost Moon because often, the first frost would occur at this time.
The Anishinaabe have referred to this moon as the Freezing Moon because the cold winter temperatures were near.

Beaver Full Moon
Last evening, when I finally got into the horizontal for the night, I notice that the full moon is shining brightly into the rear window of the jammer, informing me that the rear of the jammer is facing east. I do not step outside to take a photo, but just pull up my blanket to cover my eyes and then obtain sleep. I will have tomorrow evening for the photo shoot, which I hope to go to the lakeshore and capture the rising full moon just above the lake and/or forest.
However, what I did find is that the sky was overcast during my entire stay here in the state park and the best shot available was less that what I would prefer.

Last night, when I parked on the roadside, I was able to get a couple of photos of the full moon just above the trees.

I awake at about four-thirty for the

(Day 831 TG) 49°F. 7:00 am, overcast and rain
In short haste, the sunset begins, first a glowing ball above the horizon, the quickly descending globe below the horizon replete with mountains of the
Northern Sierra Madre region.
Then, just as quick as the suntouch began, it is over leaving the sunglow to continued for another while. However, since I know this is the night of the full moon, I immediately turned around and began searching for the moon to rise. The search did not take long as it appeared right above the shower house from where I was taking sunset photos, so I moved a little to the south to put the moon above the trees. I began taking photos of the moon capturing it in the trees, then with the trees below the moon.

Later, I take photos of the moon much higher in the sky which photos turn out quite a bit clearer due to much less clouds and atmosphere.
