The Aurora Borealis
This pulchritudinous display is probably one of the most known, most liked but also is the one least seen by most people.
An aurora, sometimes referred to as a polar lights or northern lights, is a natural light display in the sky, predominantly seen in the high latitude which are closer to the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
When charged particles from the sun strike atoms in Earth′s atmosphere, they cause electrons in the atoms to move to a higher-energy state. When the electrons drop back to a lower energy state, they release a photon of light. This process creates the beautiful Aurora Borealis.
