Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) 6 3/4 inches
Range
Abundant throughout the continent, usually in pairs or small colonies.
Habitat
Barn swallows nests nearly exclusively on man made structures.
Description
Deeply forked tail, Deep blue above, orange buff below with chestnut throat. Juvenile has shorter tail and are paler below.
