Event 27
On 20-21 January a total
total lunar eclipse occurred beginning on Sunday, 20 January 2019 and was in the Americas and then spanned the international date line into Monday, 21 January 2019 to be seen in Europe and North Africa.
A Super Moon
Furthermore, this full Moon, occurred less than a day before the moon reached the perigee of its orbit, which is the closest the moon comes to the Earth. This makes the Moon less than 223,694 miles from the earth (just less than 360,000 km), and being so near to its perigee, the Moon had an appearance of being larger in size than, causing this full Moon to be called a Super Moon.
Therefore, when a full moon is in or near the perigee of its orbit, it will appear 14 percent larger in the night sky than a normal full moon. And when that happens, it's truly a sight to behold.
The rarest type of eclipse however, is a supermoon that is also a blood moon, which is when a fully eclipsed moon is closest to the Earth in its respective orbit.
A Blood Moon
When a lunar eclipses is a total eclipse, the moon will normally take on a reddish appearance and thus they are called a Blood Moon.
Also, this full Moon was during January and a full moon in this month have long been referred to as the Wolf Moon. Thus, this moon was dubbed as the Super Blood Wolf Moon.
Length of totality
The duration of the totality of this total lunar eclipse was 62 minutes and could be viewed in all of the Americas as well as in extreme western Europe and the northwest coast of Africa.
This lunar eclipse would be the last total lunar eclipse until May 2021.

Overnighting in a parking lot,
Earlier today, when driving to and back from the hall, I espied a place to view the eclipse and drive directly there.
After parking on the side of a dark road with the passenger side of facing south, I climb into the back of the jammer, open the sliding door window and look up at the moon to see it to be just past half way into the shadow.

Then, I begin photographing the moon as it continued to progress to the total and continued take photos all along. Then, looking up at the clock, I see that the time is here, and upon looking up again can not even see the moon for a moment and methinks, Yes, it is in total. I continue taking photos for another few minutes and then the battery in my camera becomes exhausted.
I check my spare and it too needs charging. Well, I am done, put away my camera and drive back to the w-mart to park for the night.
Then next morning, I check my photos to find I have several good ones of the total eclipse and begin work of cropping the photos and updating my photo pages.
