Overnighting in a parking lot
Once I had determined that this is the same Congregation that I arrived at on Sunday, 29 June 1980, I decide that I will put my backpack on the front deck and take a photo of it.
I put my pack on the deck because it was in 1980 when I first arrived here and did the same so that I could attend the meeting here that Sunday. When I asked if I could join the meeting, I was welcome whole heartily by the congregation that day.
Although the current friends that normally come to this hall are away for the weekend at a district convention, I look forward one day to return here and meet these friends again.
Yes, it was back in 1980, during the third year that I was searching for meaning in my life, that I happened upon this Kingdom Hall of Jehovah′s Witnesses.
