QUIRE ELEVEN: CHAPTER THIRTEEN
The Quest for The Solace, Preface

On Loving God Wholeheartedly Go Down Go Back
Do We have Reason to Love God?
Do you have Love for God? Most likely, anyone asked this question will say emphatically, Yes! And indeed so because the desire to love God is inherent within us. God′s Word, the Bible therefore puts it this way, We love him, because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19)
Yes, we have ample reasons to love God simply because he has taken it upon himself to express his love for us in so many ways. Just too mention a few ways: He has provide a wonderful earthly home; He cares for all of our daily needs; He even provided for out spiritual needs by giving us His Word the Bible; and He invites us to pray to Him with His assurance that he will hear our prayers and will give us holy spirit to help us.
Too, above everything else, He has sent his firstborn son to be our Ransomer so that we might be delivered from sin and death. (John 3: 16; Romans 5:11)

For This is The Love Of God.
When the apostle John was inspired to quill these words upon his quire, what did these words mean for him? (1 John 5:3) Reflect for a moment on the context within the verse and we will realize that John was writing about, not God′s love for us, but in fact, about Our Love for God.
Yes, it is our own love of God that is the topic of John′s words in that verse. Even Jesus made it clear that our love for God should be foremost in our entire being. This being made clear by his own actions, life path and even in the words he spoke. Notice the following account recorded in the Bible.
After the Pharisees had heard how Jesus silenced the Sadducees, one of their group asked Jesus, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? In reply, Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
(Matthew 22:34, 35, 36, 37-38;
So, then, should we not want to obey what Jesus commanded us to do and learn how to love God with our entire self? Yes, in fact, this is the desire of the wayfarers who have come together in this website, that is to learn to love God Wholeheartedly.

The Will of God
Probably the most important purpose a person can undertake is to do the will of God. What is the will of God? Found in the Webster′s Dictionary, it is the whole body of God′s commandments or laws. God′s Laws are recorded in His Word the Bible, which covers every topic relating to man′s life here on the Earth.

Law of Conscience
The Bible shows that this God given faculty of conscience results from persons having the law written within their hearts, which conscience cause them to be accused or even excused within their own hearts. (Romans 2: 14, 15)
The apostle Paul was recorded as having said that lack of accurate Christian knowledge could result in one having a weak conscience. (1 Corinthians 8:7)

The Greatest Commandment
When one of the Jews, one who was a lawyer asked Jesus a question tempting him and saying, Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37, 38, 39, 40.

The Faithful and Wise Servant
Listening closely to the words of the Faithful and Wise Servant is the Feather of those who do the Will of God. In truth, this feather is indicative of and a special possession of each and every one of the brotherhood. Matthew 24:45
