The Cause for Modern Diseases
What is the Cause of Modern Disease?
Most all of the current research is finding that all modern disease has as the root cause, Chronic Inflammation.
These studies include: Harvard Health, National Institute of Health, Dr. Nandi and many others.

What is Chronic Inflammation?
Chronic Inflammation (CI) is when the acute inflammation process used by your immune system to heal and cure, gets set permanently to the on position. As a result, the body keeps the inflammation within your body working at full speed.
When this happens in your body, the inflammation will eventually damage and sicken your cells, and result in making your body unable to cure sickness. Too, when CI becomes long term, lasting months or years this will results in not only the failure of the body to cure disease, but will also not be able to eliminate what was causing the acute inflammation in the beginning.
Chronic inflammation usually reveals itself in different ways and the most common indicators for CI may not be present in every person. If you are experiencing several of the following indicators below, then you most likely have CI.

Indicators for Chronic Inflammation?
Allergies: You may have developed allergies, even though you never had them when you were young. This could include bouts with sneezing.
Anxieties, Depression: You may have problems with your thoughts, or you have brain fog. CI affects brain chemistry and changes how you think and feel
Belly Fat: Fat cells in the abdomen produce inflammatory chemicals and the more belly fat you have, the more chemicals they create.
Developing Disease: The red flag for CI comes when a disease associated with it shows up, including: auto-immune diseases; cancer; diabetes; heart disease and obesity. (See list of Modern Diseases)
Digestive Problems: CI may cause you to have bloating, constipation, diarrhea and gas. These problems indicate a sick, inflamed, even permeable (leaky) gut. A permeable gut allows toxins to escape into your bloodstream and will cause body wide inflammation.
Erectile Dysfunction: CI may cause your body to reduce the testosterone it produces.
Gum Disease: CI may cause you gums to become red, swollen and bleed easily.
High Blood Glucose Levels: CI may cause you to have high blood sugar which increases the number of inflammatory cytokines in your blood. Destructive molecules, called advance glycation end products are increased, which molecules increase inflammation.
Puffy Face: CI may cause your face to become puffy, or you may have puffy bags under your eyes.
Skin Problems: CI may cause eczema, psoriasis, or red and blotchy skin, which is an external sign for internal inflammation.
Tiredness: You may feel tired all of the time. CI causes you to feel sick and lack the energy you need to feel invigorated.

The Cause of Chronic Inflammation
What Causes Chronic Inflammation
Most commonly, CI is the result of eating certain foods that contain the inflammation causing chemicals. When these foods are digested and the blood carries the food particles throughout the body, this same food which contains the inflammation causing chemicals results in systemic inflammation.
If the person continues to eat the same inflammation causing foods, the systemic inflammations soon becomes chronic.
Recently, when I was suggesting to a close friend to stop eating the food that causes inflammation and replace it with Living Food, in other wards, a change in life style, she replied with "My Dad used to say we have the tendency to dig our grave with a fork."

The Conclusion about Chronic Inflammation
Too Simple to be True
You would think that if the cause is what we are eating, and just changing our diet would correct this problem, that would be just Too Simple to be True. Well, yes, it would seem that way.
However, have you ever tried to change something that you have done all you life. For example: smoking. If you have ever smoked cigarettes and then decide to stop smoking, you found out that stopping was one of the hardest goals you ever attempted to achieve.
This is the exact same case with changing the way we eat. In fact, it has been the absolute hardest goal I have ever set in front of me. To stop smoking was formidable, but nothing compared to changing my eating habits. Yes, nothing in my life has been as hard as the goal of removing the inflammation causing foods from my diet.
However, it is with God′s help that I have the confidence of success in this goal and my prayers continue to ascend to Him for this help.
