So far, while in Oregon, I have only come taken the time to visit one pier, the one in Garibaldi known as the Marina Pier and I have come here mostly for the food. However, I know of several more that I have yet to visit. Included in the piers in Oregon are the following:

While piers (otherwise known as a dock), by definition, stretch out over a body of water, a boardwalk extends along a stretch of sand, march or docking area. Still, piers and boardwalks often are found connected together.

The Garibaldi Marina Pier is one of several piers located in Garibaldi, Oregon, a small community on an inland bay of the North Coast of Oregon. The village is accessed by US 101 coastal highway and the pier is found near the end of South Seventh Steet.

Along Seventh Street are located the Port of Garibaldi RV Park, Harborview Inn and RV Park, Garibaldi Portside Bistro and numerous parking lots. At the end of South Seventh Street is a large parking lot with a row of picnic tables adjacent to the rock breakwater.

A chain link fence separates the parking lot from the coast guard helicopter port. Also adjacent to the fence is a wooden pier, which I believe is open to the public. Just to the east of the this pier is the Port of Garibaldi office and a short walk further you will find the Public Pier which is open free to the public. Along the entrance to the Public Pier in an adjacent building is the Tillamook Estuaries Partnership.

The third pier, the most eastern one, is adjacent to the Sigi-G Ocean Charters, which pier I am not sure if it is open to the public. After the intersection of 7th Street and Commercial Street, further to the east on Commercial Street is where there are several businesses including Sighi-G Ocean Charter, Oregon Seaweed, Garibaldi Cannery and a couple of more.

Back at the intersection, turning back north would would be Mooring Drive where there are Fisherman′s Korner Restaurant, The Spot seafood market and the multiple piers of the Garibaldi Marina.
