The San Antonio Assembly Hall, at San Antonio, Texas 1 Go Down Go Up
This assembly hall is one of the nicest that I have been to, despite it being in the very populous city of San Antonio.

The 2017 Journey, San Antonio Assembly Hall Go Down Go Up
Saturday, 04 November 2017, New Braunfels, TX.
(Day 709 TB) 65°F. 7:00 am, sun
Overnighting in a parking lot
After rising, I put on my suit, drive to the ff-mart for a cup of coffee and then drive into San Antonio to the assembly hall arriving early. I park in the parking lot and wait for the time to go inside. I am so glad that I am able to make it to this assembly as I had missed it by two weeks when I left Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Also, I have found out that the www.jw.org web site now includes assemblies and conventions in the meetings lookup section, which is where I located the address of the San Antonio assembly hall to key into my GPS.
I arrive here for a circuit assembly being held in the fall of this year.

Soon, the doors are open and the friends begin going inside. Upon entering the assembly hall, I see something I have never seen before, well except pictures in books. There in the lobby is a 1942 Ford four door sedan that is rigged as a Kingdom Message sound car. I walk up to the old sedan and begin to examine it. The car has been restored back to near original condition including an original sound system used with these sound cars.

Ford halted its car and truck lines on February 10, 1942, to begin war production, but not before a short run of 1942 cars were built.
The popular 221 CID (3.6 L) V8 was standard in De Luxe models and rated at 90 hp. An all new 226 CID (3.7 L) L-head straight-6 came on entry level vehicles. This Ford in the assembly hall appears to have a V8.

Next, I walk into the auditorium and put my books down on a seat in the middle section, and take phot of the stage.
Soon, I am meeting and talking to others here for the assembly and making new friends

Walking around the assembly hall, I find there is a large lunch room which also serves as a overflow area for seating. Too, I see the baptismal pool and finally head back into for the program.

After the assembly finishes and on my way of the property, I see that this hall has some nice picnic areas for warmer weather.
