After I purchased this vehicle and drive back to Oak Harbor Washington, I still have some time before I will begin the Journey On, so, until then, I will remain living in Oak Harbor and make preparations for the upcoming travel.

Another friend here in Oak Harbor allows me to use his wood shop so I may build furniture for the interior of the van. This will consist of five, eleven inch high boxes that will be installed in the rear of the van after I remove and dispose of the two rear rows of seats. These wooden boxes will serve as storage containers and the top of the boxes will be where I will lay out my sleeping bag.

Also, while still awaiting for my retirement to officially begin, I convert my business to an online entity so that I can begin traveling to see the national parks. Of course, I do not have to go far because there are several here in the state where I am living, Washington.

However, I stay close to my Washington home at first to take care of several items, but later in the year, I venture further away.
