Purchased for $1000.00 from a individual who advertised the vehicle on an online sales app. It was an extremely clean van with nice interior.
The 1989 Blue Aerostar had 172,000 miles on it when I acquired it, and I put nearly 40,000 miles on the odometer before selling the van for $500.00
This Aerostar has a 3.0 liter vulcan engine with automatic transmission. Interestingly, the transmission shifter is on the floor. This Aerostar had a bumper hitch which I later took off because it was heavily rusted, unsightly and added seventy-five pounds of weight to the rear end. Too, I knew that I would never need it.
Moving Day
On Day
499 TB, I begin to move my possessions from the green van to the blue one, a process that takes several days. Then, after completing the move, I have the Green 1994 Aerostar picked upon on Day
514 TB, to be taken to a wrecking yard.
Soon after that, I resume the journey on, all along giving thanks to Jehovah God.
The Blue Jammer
Anyone who knows me, knows that blue is my favorite color and to have as a vehicle a blue one, is what I have wanted for a long time. Nevertheless, as beautiful this blue van is to me, I know all too well that all things in this system are temporary at best and this applies just as much to the vehicle that one drives, especially like this vehicle that came loaded with 174,000 miles on the odometer.
I even begin decorating the rear side windows and rear lift door window with a large quantity of bumper stickers from the places that I have been traveling to.
