Upon arriving back at the Bitter Creek home, I am ready to get started. Larry, Summer and myself begin preparing the wire race and running the home runs. Soon after that, we begin installing the boxes on the studs.

Rough-in Inspection
The wiring of the circuit breaker box, the receptacles and fixtures will come after the rough-in inspection, but I stick around until after the inspection is made
When the rough in inspection is completed, there are corrections for the plumbing and HVAC ductwork but the electrical passes. Now the sheet rock can be installed, which will take a couple of week so I leave to go see totality.
A Break for the Total Eclipse
While waiting for the sheet rock to be completed, I drive north over South Pass, through Lander, Wyoming to a location in the middle of the path of the total eclipse to watch the two minutes and twenty-two seconds of
totality.
Returning after the
Total Solar eclipse, I do the final work on the circuit breaker box. First, I connect the ground wires (bare), then the common wires (white) and finally connect all the home runs, or circuits (black and red wires) to their breakers.
The final connection of the receptacles, lamps and appliances will be done by another friend of Wayne and Summer.

The final connection of the receptacles, lamps and appliances will be done by another friend of Wayne and Summer. I go to the meeting on Sunday, then drive to the Bitter Creek home to photograph the breaker box as I was too tired to do so after I finished working on it Friday evening.
Leaving Rock Springs, Wyoming, I drive to the
Hobo Hot Springs in Saratoga, Wyoming and get into the hot water to soak for a couple of hours.
