That being said, all of the information provided within the Appendix Passage, especially in this section called A Wayƒarer′s Quill Strokes is free for any and all to access. Never have we or will we ask for a membership fee or a purchase price for any information that is presented in the Appendix Passage on this web site.

The Food that Is Not Food
As the twenty-first century continues fast forward through it′s second decade, I have found that more and more foods contain high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and genetically modified organisms (GMO) both of which make the food cheaper to produce but which ingredients have been shown to cause all kinds of health problems including cancer, diabetes, heart attacks and this is just the short list. In fact, it now seems that most processed foods have HFCS in the ingredient list.
Also, the crops currently marketed in the US that have GMO′s (of varying percentages) are alfalfa, apple, beet, cantaloupe, canola, corn, cotton, flax, papaya, plum, potato, raddicchio, rapeseed, rice, soybean, squash, sugar beet, tomato and wheat. Other are soon to follow.
The only thing normally promoted as an alternative to the above death march of commercially prepared foods with HFCS and GMO′s are high priced organic foods. However, as the quantity of available organic foods increase, I find that the price has been coming down making this type of food ultimately, the best choice.
Upon becoming aware of these developments, I began in earnest to research and find a new way to walk, steps upon a path which would henceforth exclude the unhealthy consequences from artificial, carbonated, bleached, bagged, bottled, boxed, canned, fast, packaged, processed, refined, restaurant, white and any other product that is totally out of the realm of Good For You.

Why is it Not Food?
The Foods listed below are not good for you because most all have Prostaglandins which trigger and/or prolong inflammation in the body, which then becomes chronic inflammation, the root cause of modern disease.
Others have chemical toxins including: pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers; all of which can cause detrimental effects on organisms and human health, both by their direct and indirect action. Among the biological effects of these chemicals, it can be cited include: genetic damages, diverse physiological alterations and even death of the organisms exposed.
Still others affect human health by having artery-clogging saturated fats which increase the risk of heart disease. Many of these same foods have growth hormones which increase obesity.
The above list is by no means complete and would require much time and space to include, but know that none of the below listed foods should be considered safe to ever include in the daily diet.

The Foods To Avoid
ADDITIVES

alcohol: all including beer, fortified wine, spirits, liquor, wine
caffeinated: all including coffee, energy drinks, tea
packaged: all including bottled juices, juice boxes, drink mixes, packaged drinks
soda: all including diet, energy drinks, flavored water, sweetened

BREADS and PASTA
bread: all including bagels, biscuits, buns, crackers, pancakes, sliced, rolls,
sprouted grains 2, tortillas
pasta: all including macaroni, noodles, ramin, rotini, spaghetti

CONDIMENTS
butter and spreads (nut and seed): all including peanut butter, 2 cashew butter 2
candy: all including milk chocolate, chewing gum
seasoning mixes: all [store bought] including Cajun seasoning, taco seasoning
sweeteners, artificial: all including Aspartame, Equal, Nutrasweet,

The Totally Unnecessary Disclaimer
All the statements, positive or negative, about the commercial food industry of this world are my own opinion, but methinks that no disclaimer is called for here simply because of the food industry′s extreme greed for profit and total lack of concern for the health of their product consumers. Too, what the food industry has done has resulted in the devastation of the health of most of the people on this earth.
In truth, the entire commercial food processing system, but especially the meats and dairy are defiled with toxins, pesticides, hormones, and who know what else.
Further, the so called food pyramid brought about by the food industry and politics is, in it′s multitudinous interpretations undeniably flawed.

White sea salt is bleached. The minimum daily salt needs is nearly always surpassed by natural occurring salt in food, especially in fresh vegetables, making added salt a risk to your health.

Grains, Legumes, (some) Nuts, (most) Seeds and other plants have antinutrients, which prevent the person eating these plant from gaining access to the nutrition in them. Also, these same plants because of these antinutrients are inflammatory when eaten. Sprouting removes some of the antinutrients from these plants but not all. Consuming any of these plants should be extremely limited, especially when trying to cure disease, including obesity.

Caution should be taken regarding foods harvested from the Pacific Ocean due to the radiation polution, especially any from areas near Japan.
